Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Renatinho Gaspar kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the EC Framengo defense, Pedro Paulo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Seco. The EC Framengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Seco should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Dudu Rezende in the 11th minute really tested Filipe Proença's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Labrador's zone, Eliseu Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Proença came out of the goal and Eliseu Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, EC Framengo's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Hermes came free, but Vicente Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Dudu Rezende put in a rough tackle. In the 19th minute, one of EC Framengo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EC Framengo. 25 minutes into the match, Ramiro Simão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Seco. EC Framengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Simão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. EC Framengo's Vicente Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Hermes in the 29th minute of play. Filipe Proença made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Eliseu Urbano sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Bernardo Jacinto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Filipe Proença, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 37 minutes, Eliseu Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Framengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Labrador's zone, Eliseu Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Proença came out of the goal and Eliseu Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Proença made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesinha Munhoz in the 42nd minute. When Eliseu Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the EC Framengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Urbano couldn't finish the play. Filipe Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Prado in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 55th minute, Eliseu Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC Framengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Filipe Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-3 became the score in the 63rd minute when Eliseu Urbano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, EC Framengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Chico Falcão, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bernardo Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Proença having to make a save. Eliseu Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Proença having to interfere. If Eliseu Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Jacinto went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. EC Framengo were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Labrador to leave the ground with a draw.
