Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Claudinei Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raúl Carioca, 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, Marala SC's Carlos Augusto Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Acácio Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Emílio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SouPobre Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Davi da Rocha hit a great ball. Luiz Fernando Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Emílio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Davi da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Marala SC's Gino Simão tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Marala SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Acácio Vieira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 29th match minute, Marala SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Marala SC's Raúl Carioca got control of the ball when Acácio Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Carlos Augusto Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marala SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of SouPobre Futebol Clube booed when Marala SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Claudinei Seco sped through Marala SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raúl Carioca. In the 45th minute Claudinei Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Matheus Vale struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Emílio Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marala SC. Acácio Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marala SC's Raúl Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Vieira in the 60th minute of play. Claudinei Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Raúl Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Marala SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Fernando da Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raúl Carioca. Marala SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Marala SC's Carlos Augusto Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emílio Monteiro. Emílio Monteiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 78 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marala SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SouPobre Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 78th minute, Andrézinho Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fernando Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marala SC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Fantini hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, SouPobre Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Marala SC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after SouPobre Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gino Simão took the corner. The corner ended in Gino Simão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SouPobre Futebol Clube's Emílio Monteiro did a great save. If Claudinei Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
