Spectators: 6997 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Osmar Lopes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Compasso's Osmar Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osmar Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Moreira having to make a save. After 19 minutes of play, Compasso's Marco Travassos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurinho Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Ulyanov having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Omega's Giovani Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Ulyanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute Giovani Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Ulyanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Compasso's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Ramos came free, but Joseph Ulyanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Lopes in the 38th minute of the match. Osmar Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Omega players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Compasso were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovani Ramos to make the kick off. Zé Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Travassos in the 55th minute. Joseph Ulyanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Giovani Ramos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Joseph Ulyanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Omega. Joseph Ulyanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Ramos in the 62nd minute of play. Maurinho Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurinho Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Travassos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Zé Moreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maurinho Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Joseph Ulyanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Giovani Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Ulyanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Omega's Giovani Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Ulyanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Marco Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Compasso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Travassos couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Compasso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
