Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raphael Fonseca took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Uarati's Roger Velloso got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Compasso booed when Uarati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Osmar Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Compasso's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Uarati's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto de Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 14th minute, Antônio do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Ulyanov. Compasso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Compasso's zone, Antônio do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Ulyanov came out of the goal and Antônio do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cícero Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Travassos got free with Wilton Velloso in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Compasso's Cícero Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilton Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Antônio do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cícero Queiroz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Antônio do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Joseph Ulyanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silvério Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compasso's protests and gave Silvério Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Uarati's Dadá Guerra tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Compasso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uarati were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osmar Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Raphael Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uarati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Raphael Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Ulyanov having to interfere. Wilton Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Travassos in the 70th minute of play. Osmar Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Velloso having to interfere. Raphael Fonseca's late challenge caught a Compasso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Uarati got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Fonseca. If Raphael Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Compasso fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uarati were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
