Dênis Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dênis Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, C0RINTHIANSS FC's goalkeeper Adriano Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willian Correia. Delfim Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Hernani Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Adriano Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Vale in the 18th minute of the match. Adriano Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 54 minutes C0RINTHIANSS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Moreno who took care of the corner kick. 58 minutes in the game, Carlos Fernando Amaral dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Hernani Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Amaral in the 67th minute of the match. Willian Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Martim's Willian Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the C0RINTHIANSS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Martim.
