Aílton Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Netto got free with Osvaldo Meira in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Antônio do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauro Sanches hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Antônio do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Meira having to interfere. Aliança EC's Osvaldo Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Fonseca in the 19th minute of play. Osvaldo Meira came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uarati's Antônio do Valle. But to his dismay, Antônio do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Filipe Pirani's late challenge caught a Uarati's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Aliança EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Antônio do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aílton Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Raphael Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Aílton Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aliança EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Uarati's Raphael Fonseca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvaldo Meira. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Uarati's Dito Cruz got a free kick in the 46th minute. Wilton Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raphael Fonseca to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Aliança EC got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Nascimento. Osvaldo Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Uarati booed when Aliança EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio do Valle in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Uarati's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Damião came free, but Wilton Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilton Velloso made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Matheus Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Dadá Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Aílton Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Arlindo Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Osvaldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio do Valle in the 74th minute of the match. Raphael Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hílton Chaves fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aliança EC's protests and gave Hílton Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Aliança EC got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Chaves. Wilton Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matheus Tavares went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Aílton Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio do Valle in the 89th minute of the match. Aliança EC's Osvaldo Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Lara in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Aliança EC booed when Uarati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uarati's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
