Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Balco's Gustavo Hoffmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Renatinho Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Framengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renatinho Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Renatinho Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Friedrich Nietzsche was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The supporters of EC Framengo booed when Balco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. EC Framengo's Renatinho Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Renatinho Gaspar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Friedrich Nietzsche. With his leg Vicente Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Balco's Renato Negri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edvaldo Meirelles hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Vicente Seco made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Renato Negri sent off a good shot on target. Friedrich Nietzsche came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by EC Framengo's Renatinho Gaspar. But to his dismay, Renatinho Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Eliseu Urbano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Friedrich Nietzsche. 37 minutes into the match, Eliseu Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Friedrich Nietzsche. Balco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renatinho Gaspar in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Friedrich Nietzsche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 played minutes Balco got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Gonçalves. When Cauã Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balco's protests and gave Cauã Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Cauã Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half EC Framengo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Gaspar made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Eurico Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes of play Balco's Cauã Moreira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Eliseu Urbano scored 0-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Friedrich Nietzsche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Gaspar in the 69th minute of play forced Balco's goalkeeper Friedrich Nietzsche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Friedrich Nietzsche was a little too slow when Bernardo Jacinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-6. After a rather tough play, EC Framengo's Eurico Prado got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gustavo Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Vicente Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balco. Friedrich Nietzsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Renatinho Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eliseu Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Framengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Friedrich Nietzsche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renatinho Gaspar had several of the Balco's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Friedrich Nietzsche as he didn't even see the shot coming. 85 minutes into the match, Balco's goalkeeper Friedrich Nietzsche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Gaspar. Sebastião Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Balco's zone, Eliseu Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Friedrich Nietzsche came out of the goal and Eliseu Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renato Negri's late challenge caught a EC Framengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Negri helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as EC Framengo's Renatinho Gaspar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Friedrich Nietzsche. That made the score 0-8 after 92 minutes of play. In the 96th minute, Eurico Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Renatinho Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the EC Framengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatinho Gaspar couldn't finish the play. EC Framengo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
