The supporters of Keidson booed when SOLANO STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Amaral hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Silvério Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keidson's Ricardo Valladares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SOLANO STAR. Telmo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keidson's goalkeeper Hélio Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Christiano Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telmo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Neto in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Linhares in the 31st minute of play forced SOLANO STAR's goalkeeper Telmo Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Erik Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keidson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOLANO STAR the free kick. After a rather tough play, Keidson's Erik Neto got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Murillo Salgado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hélio Queirós, passed just outside the right post. Gonçalo Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Queirós having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Loureiro made a kick off. If Gonçalo Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, SOLANO STAR's Murillo Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélio Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60thth minute of the game Christiano Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOLANO STAR's Telmo Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Loureiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélio Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Christiano Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Neto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Telmo Gerber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Murillo Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOLANO STAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomás Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Leopoldo Lira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélio Queirós skillfully saved the ball. Ricardo Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SOLANO STAR's zone, Erik Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Gerber came out of the goal and Erik Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Telmo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélio Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th match minute, SOLANO STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Vidal to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute Keidson were awarded a corner. Ricardo Valladares went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Keidson's corner Ricardo Valladares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Telmo Gerber quite easily take care of the ball.
