After some careless play in the SOLANO STAR defense, Gilvan Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Gerber. The SOLANO STAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Gerber should have stopped the shot. Válbson Vergílio's late challenge caught a SOLANO STAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Válbson Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SOLANO STAR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
