Frank Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Luisão de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lauro Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Eger made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Gernando Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HOPE FC and the Chapezuma Potenza Amarelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chapezuma Potenza Amarelo's Pedro Augusto Pinho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HOPE FC. If Luisão de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Chapezuma Potenza Amarelo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HOPE FC for a fine match.
