Matheus Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Mazza scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Valadares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Gustavo Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube Rua N's Luís Gustavo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Mazza in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, João Augusto Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Cartoleiro FC booed when Clube Rua N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Soares in the 31st minute of the match. Egídio Neto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, one of Cartoleiro FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cartoleiro FC. Matheus Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Rua N's zone, Alexandre Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Valadares came out of the goal and Alexandre Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheus Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo Valadares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matheus Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Denílson Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Valadares having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Clube Rua N was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Meira to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Ediberto Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cartoleiro FC's Samuca Vieira tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matheus Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Valadares having to interfere. Cartoleiro FC's David Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Mendonça in the 80th minute of play. When Matheus Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cartoleiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Mazza couldn't finish the play. Cartoleiro FC's Matheus Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheus Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Valadares made a huge save. It was beautiful to see Cartoleiro FC's João Augusto Lira in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 93 minutes, Matheus Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cartoleiro FC and the Clube Rua N players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cartoleiro FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Matheus Mazza hit a great ball.
