But to his dismay, Franklin Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 74 minutes, Matheus Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jota P Assis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rômulo Meirelles scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Váldson Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Pureza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 82 in the game by Rômulo Meirelles from a close distance when the talented Váldson Jacinto managed to make a qualified save. Pureza's players were relieved. In the 94th minute, Rômulo Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pureza succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jota P Assis had controlled the match.
