When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Erik de Almeida sped through Itaubal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro da Costa. In the 46th minute Erik de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Rolo Compressor were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Natã Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro da Costa having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Erik de Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramiro da Costa, 1-6.
