The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natã Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jano Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Erik de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jano Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th match minute, Rolo Compressor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Iaciara's Maurício Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Rezende in the 19th minute of play forced Rolo Compressor's goalkeeper César do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik de Almeida's late challenge caught a Iaciara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Rolo Compressor got a freekick which was hit by Erik de Almeida. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Váldson Saraiva during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Iaciara got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Saraiva. Maurício Cardozo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik de Almeida to make the kick off. The corner ended in Cesinha Branco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Iaciara's Jano Esteves did a great save. 53 minutes into the game, Erik de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jano Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Iaciara getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Germano Moraes hit a great ball. Ronaldinho Mineiro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rolo Compressor's Ronaldinho Mineiro got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Natã Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Erik de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iaciara's Jano Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes, Régis Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rolo Compressor and the Iaciara players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Rolo Compressor got a freekick which was hit by Régis Coutinho. 78 minutes into the match, Rolo Compressor's Natã Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jano Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Iaciara got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Cardozo. In the 82nd match minute, Rolo Compressor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Andrysiak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rolo Compressor's Ronaldinho Mineiro got a free kick in the 84th minute. Iaciara's Germano Moraes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rolo Compressor. Erik de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Régis Coutinho in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jano Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Erik de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rolo Compressor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Rolo Compressor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
