The supporters of Burro da Central booed when Tradição Gaúcha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burro da Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tradição Gaúcha the free kick. 67 minutes into the game, Tradição Gaúcha's Enio Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robinho Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Wilton Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Cosme having to interfere. Andrézinho Berger was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Tradição Gaúcha getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leopoldo Terra hit a great ball. Andrézinho Berger took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson Cosme. Lenílson Cosme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Valadares in the 96th minute of play forced Burro da Central's goalkeeper Robinho Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caco Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 99th minute, Caco Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Penha having to interfere.
