Jano Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurício Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Luís Fabiano Bezerra made a huge save. If Maurício Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Cardozo came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luís Fabiano Bezerra could save by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

FAMILIA ANGELINI 2011's Luís Fabiano Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Cardozo in the 51st minute of play. Richard Rezende took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fabiano Bezerra. Luís Fabiano Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Basílio Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rony Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iaciara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Maurício Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fabiano Bezerra was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Rezende in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano Bezerra saved FAMILIA ANGELINI 2011 from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, FAMILIA ANGELINI 2011's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Rezende came free, but Luís Fabiano Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
