Percy Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jarbas Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, BAGACERA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Antunes to maneuver through the defense. If Percy Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, João Augusto Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Charles Secco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guto Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Britto in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute João Augusto Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Boston Garden got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Meireles. When João Augusto Terra came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Boston Garden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Terra couldn't finish the play. Charles Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Britto in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Percy Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 48th minute, Guto Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gabriel Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Faustão Branco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When João Augusto Terra came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Boston Garden fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Percy Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAGACERA's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Dalmo das Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAGACERA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Boston Garden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guto Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Secco made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when João Augusto Terra sent off a good shot on target. Dalmo das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jarbas Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boston Garden's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
