Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Guilherme Santana took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Caraiva booed when S.E Haineken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Oséas Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Motta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Glauco Antunes. Caraiva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ronaldo Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Britto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roberto Abreu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Schmidt in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, S.E Haineken's Gonçalo Motta got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Arthur Pereira hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Gonçalo Motta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glauco Antunes skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to S.E Haineken getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Silvério Azevedo hit a great ball. Caraiva's Paulão Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, S.E Haineken's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Britto came free, but Roberto Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guilherme Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Glauco Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Schmidt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Paulão Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dito Simões's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Glauco Antunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Guilherme Santana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 61st minute. The supporters of Caraiva booed when S.E Haineken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caraiva's Glauco Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Caraiva from getting a goal against them. Sandrinho Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Dito Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Antunes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Leme in the 79th minute of play forced S.E Haineken's goalkeeper Roberto Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Luís Guilherme Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Britto in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Schmidt in the 91st minute of play forced S.E Haineken's goalkeeper Roberto Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulão Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
