Jorge de Moraes started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Furtado. Agathus's Jorge de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 6 minutes, Jorge de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agathus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 严林思 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Souto in the 17th minute of play. Bernardo Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gil Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Paulinho Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Agathus's Naldo da Silveira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bernardo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Almir Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EVERTON 1989 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agathus the free kick. After a rather tough play, EVERTON 1989 FC's Almir Loureiro got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a little luck, EVERTON 1989 FC's Gil Teixeira got control of the ball when Bernardo Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Gil Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Furtado got free with Gil Teixeira in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in EVERTON 1989 FC's zone, Jorge de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Teixeira came out of the goal and Jorge de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovani Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Geovani Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half EVERTON 1989 FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matías Bueno to make the kick off. Cauã Almeida scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, one of EVERTON 1989 FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Naldo da Silveira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. EVERTON 1989 FC's Gil Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge de Moraes in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Jorge de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gil Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulinho Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Furtado in the 73rd minute of play forced EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge de Moraes in the 81st minute of the match. Bernardo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Agathus's Bernardo Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 played minutes EVERTON 1989 FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Andrade. If Augusto Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Bueno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 严林思 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Agathus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
