With a little luck, Unidos do K4N's Telmo Tavares got control of the ball when Denílson da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Telmo Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo de Lima in the 32nd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubinho Moreira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Unidos do K4N's Danilo de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredão Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Unidos do K4N's zone, Rubinho Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Tavares came out of the goal and Rubinho Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Telmo Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Fábio Rosado got free in front of the goal in the 82nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Telmo Tavares was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Rubinho Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubinho Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Telmo Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SHIKADAI FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
