Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Juve Ibicity's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Velloso came free, but Víktor Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Víktor Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Víktor Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo de Souza in the 11th minute of play. When Cléber Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juve Ibicity's protests and gave Cléber Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Cléber Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Juve Ibicity got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Velasco. In the 15th minute, Adrianinho Botelho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juve Ibicity's Víktor Diniz didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute, Júlio Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 played minutes Velho got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Furtado. The audience was convinced that Miguel da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Baiano was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Conrado Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute of the match Percy Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Víktor Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Víktor Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo de Souza went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rodolfo de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel da Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Júlio Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juve Ibicity's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Juve Ibicity's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Velloso came free, but Víktor Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Velloso in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Víktor Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Juve Ibicity's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo de Souza came free, but Víktor Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Conrado Velloso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Juve Ibicity's Víktor Diniz. Víktor Diniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Baiano having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Júlio Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesley Fantini hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Velloso in the 88th minute of play forced Juve Ibicity's goalkeeper Víktor Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Víktor Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Velloso in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Velho fans cheered their team off the field, for while Juve Ibicity had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
