Pedrinho Pires didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 11 played minutes COMMANDER FC got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Sabóia. When José Carlos Martins came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SHIKADAI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Martins couldn't finish the play. Dalmo de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pedrinho Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in COMMANDER FC's zone, Luís Fábio Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Pires came out of the goal and Luís Fábio Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, SHIKADAI FC's Rubinho Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Acácio Vargas hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Jerônimo de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rubinho Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho Pires was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in COMMANDER FC's zone, Rubinho Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Pires came out of the goal and Rubinho Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fábio Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fábio Rosado struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pedrinho Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SHIKADAI FC. 43 minutes into the game, Walmyr Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COMMANDER FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SHIKADAI FC the free kick. After 44 played minutes COMMANDER FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Medeiros. After 45 played minutes SHIKADAI FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Trigo. SHIKADAI FC's Alfredão Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo de Castro in the 47th minute of play. SHIKADAI FC's Carlos Alberto Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Dalmo de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pedrinho Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo de Lima in the 59th minute of the match. Pedrinho Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Carlos Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Pires having to interfere. A collision led to COMMANDER FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Walmyr Medeiros hit a great ball. Dalmo de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Pires having to interfere. José Carlos Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Rubinho Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fábio Rosado's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Rubinho Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Pires having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Rubinho Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Mineiro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SHIKADAI FC had played much better football throughout.
