In the 8th match minute, Baixinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Vidal to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Real Imirim EC's Claudinho Zanette ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorian Mattos. Dorian Mattos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Baixinho's Dorian Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Baixinho from getting a goal against them. After having played for 18 minutes, Claudinho Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Imirim EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomé Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Dedê Dantas could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Dorian Mattos however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mauro Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Imirim EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baixinho's Dorian Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Baixinho from getting a goal against them. Dorian Mattos came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Imirim EC's Mauro Jacinto. But to his dismay, Mauro Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Baixinho's zone, Dedê Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Mattos came out of the goal and Dedê Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Diamantino Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baixinho's Dorian Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Zanette in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Dedê Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dorian Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedê Dantas in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Jacinto in the 64th minute of play forced Baixinho's goalkeeper Dorian Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Mauro Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Claudinho Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Real Imirim EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Zanette couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Dedê Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Imirim EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Dorian Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedê Dantas's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Baixinho's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Gaúcho came free, but Dorian Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes, Allan do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Imirim EC and the Baixinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Allan do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baixinho's Gildo Vidal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diamantino Braga but with some difficulty.
