Cipriano Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Neiva in the 3rd minute of the match. If Ademir Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bar Sem Lona EC's Natã Faria got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Ademir Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Acácio Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Alcântara was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tricolor do Morumba's goalkeeper Adilson de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adilson de Senna made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Raí Damião sent off a good shot on target. Natã Faria's late challenge caught a Tricolor do Morumba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natã Faria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Humberto Pimenta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bar Sem Lona EC's Cipriano Alcântara didn't even have to move. Cipriano Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Cordeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bar Sem Lona EC's Cipriano Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tricolor do Morumba's Adilson de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Paraibano in the 32nd minute of play. Murilo Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson de Senna having to interfere. If Ademir Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Toledo in the 41st minute of the match. Acácio Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cipriano Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Acácio Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Alcântara having to interfere. If Ademir Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tricolor do Morumba's Acácio Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Toledo in the 59th minute. Cipriano Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Neiva in the 62nd minute of play. Raí Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Ademir Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tricolor do Morumba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bar Sem Lona EC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Natã Faria hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademir Toledo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raí Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Adilson de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Acácio Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Bar Sem Lona EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ademir Toledo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tricolor do Morumba players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
