Gonçalo de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Murilo Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gonçalo de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Multiforça's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raí Damião. In the 42nd minute, Gilmar Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Bar Sem Lona EC's Ciro de Toledo got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Multiforça's Gonçalo de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Paraibano in the 54th minute of play. Vânderson de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vânderson de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonçalo de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bar Sem Lona EC. The Multiforça players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
