After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Baltazar Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Error 504 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th match minute, Bar Sem Lona EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Quirino to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Bar Sem Lona EC's goalkeeper Cipriano Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltazar Cabral. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Bar Sem Lona EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Error 504 FC:s goal. Cipriano Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltazar Cabral in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute Marquinhos Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Cabral in the 30th minute of the match. Baltazar Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Alcântara having to interfere. Cipriano Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Bar Sem Lona EC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Walmyr Carioca hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bar Sem Lona EC's zone, Marquinhos Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Alcântara came out of the goal and Marquinhos Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Ciro de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marquinhos Viana to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Baltazar Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Error 504 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Viana went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Geovanildo Alves hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Raí Damião was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Bar Sem Lona EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cipriano Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Raí Damião fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Percival Lucas, passed just outside the right post. After 69 played minutes Bar Sem Lona EC got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Carioca. Marquinhos Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cipriano Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Viana scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Error 504 FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rogério Leão hit a great ball. Bar Sem Lona EC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Error 504 FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bebeto Pimenta took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Murilo Paraibano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 86th minute, Marquinhos Viana made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Alcântara. Bar Sem Lona EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Marquinhos Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Error 504 FC had played much better football throughout.
