Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Acácio Neiva made the kick off which started today's match. If Ademir Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adilson de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Multiforça's zone, Ademir Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo de Sena came out of the goal and Ademir Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acácio Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruninho Vale was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Multiforça's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Multiforça's zone, Acácio Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo de Sena came out of the goal and Acácio Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio Neiva's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Pedro Luís Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo de Sena having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Bruninho Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 played minutes Tricolor do Morumba got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Cordeiro. In the 34th match minute, Multiforça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Ademir Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bruninho Vale made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Multiforça booed when Tricolor do Morumba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gilmar Teles came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Multiforça fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Teles couldn't finish the play. Acácio Neiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Multiforça booed when Tricolor do Morumba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Neiva in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonçalo de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Neiva in the 69th minute of the match. When Wesley Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tricolor do Morumba's protests and gave Wesley Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tricolor do Morumba getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Wesley Pinheiro hit a great ball. When Gilmar Teles came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Multiforça fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Teles couldn't finish the play. A hard and well directed shot from Humberto Pimenta led 83 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Multiforça's Gonçalo de Sena became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Yuri Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Multiforça getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yuri Loyola hit a great ball. Tricolor do Morumba's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
