Robinho Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado de Carvalho in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Breno Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marsal's Robinho Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robinho Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Robinho Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado de Carvalho in the 24th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Brodel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Borges having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Conrado de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Kiko Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Robinho Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Marsal's Zé Paulo Brodel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreto F.C.'s goalkeeper Michel Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Domingues to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Barreto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Vargas. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Marsal's goalkeeper Robinho Bezerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Paulo Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Michel Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcus Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Zé Paulo Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Michel Borges. Barreto F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Manuel Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Marsal's Rodriguinho Ramalho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Conrado de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Robinho Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Marsal's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado de Carvalho came free, but Robinho Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marsal's Robinho Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Marsal from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
