Spectators: 7108 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 20) Jangada's Claudinho Donato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jaguaribara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Donato came free, but Régis Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Kiko Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jangada's Claudinho Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Lucas in the 9th minute of play forced Jangada's goalkeeper Geovanni Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovanni Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Pitta in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jangada defense, Cássio Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Leão. The Jangada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Leão should have stopped the shot. Jaguaribara EC's Régis Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Jaguaribara EC from getting a goal against them. Mateus Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Geovanni Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Jangada's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Pitta came free, but Geovanni Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Jaguaribara EC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Azevedo. Régis Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Sena went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Jaguaribara EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Pereira to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 58th minute of the match Carlos Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Régis Braga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cássio Azevedo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Marquinhos Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Braga having to make a save. Geovanni Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Valladares in the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Claudinho Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jangada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Claudinho Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
