Bruno da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Haroldo Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

Rodolfo Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Mangueira went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Haroldo Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno da Fonseca having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amigo do Lagarteichon had played much better football throughout.
