Spectators: 7359 (Terracing: 5520, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Téo Abraão got the match started through his kick off. Alessandro Mangueira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dedê de Salles 5 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes Correntina got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Simões. When Téo Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Correntina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo Abraão couldn't finish the play. Téo Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinei Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinei Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Correntina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Sena to maneuver through the defense. Dedê de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Mangueira in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Correntina's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Mangueira came free, but Dedê de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Correntina's goalkeeper Dedê de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Quadros. In the 26th minute, Luiz Gustavo Simões made a precise shot to the right of Bruno da Fonseca. Amigo do Lagarteichon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alessandro Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dedê de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fabinho Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amigo do Lagarteichon's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabinho Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedê de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Mangueira in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedê de Salles saved Correntina from getting behind.

In the 53rd match minute, Amigo do Lagarteichon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Dedê de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Mangueira in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Haroldo Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amigo do Lagarteichon's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedê de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Téo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Haroldo Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Fabinho Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Abraão in the 84th minute of play forced Amigo do Lagarteichon's goalkeeper Bruno da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luiz Gustavo Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Correntina's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Haroldo Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Correntina's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Quadros came free, but Dedê de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th of the match, Téo Abraão tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bruno da Fonseca got in the way and made a wonderful save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
