One of Jaya F.C - standy by:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goias EC:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Goias EC's Lúcio Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho dos Santos in the 58th minute of play.
