Dieguinho de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Costa in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Virasoro fc's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Salgado came free, but Dieguinho de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dieguinho de Toledo made a huge save. If Nando Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieguinho de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nando Nunes in the 22nd minute. When Giovani Costa came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Liberato EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 28thth minute of the game Giovani Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Virasoro fc's Dieguinho de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Nando Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liberato EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Acácio da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Macedo having to make a save. Nando Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dieguinho de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nando Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Liberato EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando Nunes couldn't finish the play. When Luiz Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liberato EC's protests and gave Luiz Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Liberato EC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Luiz Pinheiro hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Liberato EC got a freekick which was hit by Willian Salgado. After a rather tough play, Liberato EC's Alex Queiroz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Virasoro fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Nunes came free, but Dieguinho de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelsinho Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnaldo Quirino in the 72nd minute. If Giovani Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Edgard Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virasoro fc and the Liberato EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Virasoro fc's Edgard Brodel got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Nando Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dieguinho de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Giovani Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieguinho de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsinho Macedo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Agnaldo Quirino sent off a good shot on target. Liberato EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
