Alex Queiroz made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Giovani Costa. After 13 minutes, Eugênio Peixoto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liberato EC's Nelsinho Macedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Eugênio Peixoto sped through Liberato EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho Macedo. After a defensive mix-up in Liberato EC's zone, Eugênio Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Macedo came out of the goal and Eugênio Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Liberato EC's Alex Queiroz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Eugênio Peixoto put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nelsinho Macedo. Nelsinho Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugênio Peixoto to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugênio Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Nelsinho Macedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eugênio Peixoto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Nelsinho Macedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelsinho Macedo. Liberato EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Nilson Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Nelsinho Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phantasma FC. Nando Nunes scored 3-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Queiroz got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luiz Pinheiro. Phantasma FC's Eugênio Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phantasma FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
