Délio de Amaral made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Phantasma FC's Nilson Barbosa. Dino Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio Peixoto in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Phantasma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando de Almeida came free, but Olívio Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Eugênio Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phantasma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Diamantino Simões in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Phantasma FC's Nilson Barbosa. Phantasma FC's Eugênio Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dino Rosado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Phantasma FC's Eugênio Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ian Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugênio Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Dino Rosado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugênio Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugênio Peixoto in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Rosado saved Clube de Regatas Perebas from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Eugênio Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phantasma FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 57 played minutes Phantasma FC got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Hermes. Eugênio Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Phantasma FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eugênio Peixoto hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, Phantasma FC's Eugênio Peixoto made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Rosado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dino Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugênio Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Clube de Regatas Perebas's Gilvan Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Phantasma FC's Eugênio Peixoto in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube de Regatas Perebas's goalie prevented a goal. When Jairo Simão came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Clube de Regatas Perebas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Simão couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir de Amaral during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Clube de Regatas Perebas got a freekick which was hit by Waldir de Amaral. Eugênio Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Eugênio Peixoto sped through Clube de Regatas Perebas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Rosado. After some careless play in the Clube de Regatas Perebas defense, Ian Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Rosado. The Clube de Regatas Perebas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Rosado should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phantasma FC had played much better football throughout.
