The audience was convinced that Artaç Yatuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joélson Fernandez was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Gordo Feio FC's Joélson Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unax Casabo in the 19th minute of play. But to his dismay, Unax Casabo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Conrado Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Pinheiro FC's Silvinho Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joélson Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artaç Yatuk to strike the kick off in the second half. Joélson Fernandez came out of the goal and Artaç Yatuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joélson Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artaç Yatuk in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Pinheiro FC were awarded a corner. Silvinho Ortiz went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Unax Casabo drilling the ball in to score 0-7 behind Gordo Feio FC's goalkeeper. Sidney Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Pitta in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artaç Yatuk got free with Joélson Fernandez in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joélson Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unax Casabo in the 78th minute of the match. Artaç Yatuk had several of the Gordo Feio FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Joélson Fernandez as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Ademir Severo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gordo Feio FC's protests and gave Ademir Severo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gordo Feio FC's Ademir Severo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Joélson Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio da Fonseca in the 86th minute of play. Unax Casabo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Joélson Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinheiro FC. Gordo Feio FC's Joélson Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Gordo Feio FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Giovani de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Pinheiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Maia. Gordo Feio FC's Joélson Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unax Casabo in the 96th minute of play. Pinheiro FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
