Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Cauacu's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Barros came free, but Tarcisio Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Claudinho Bertassi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarcisio Fonseca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tarcisio Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Bertassi in the 9th minute of the match. Gernando de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14thth minute of the game Claudinho Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cauacu's Tarcisio Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarcisio Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Irajá FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Claudinho Bertassi hit a great ball. Dário Miranda's late challenge caught a Cauacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Irajá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Tarcisio Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Mesquita during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cauacu getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. William Mesquita hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Claudinho Bertassi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cauacu's Tarcisio Fonseca didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho Bertassi in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcisio Fonseca saved Cauacu from getting behind. Claudinho Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio Souto's late challenge caught a Irajá FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovânio Souto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cauacu's Geovânio Souto got a free kick in the 38th minute. Claudinho Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cauacu defense, Gernando de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcisio Fonseca. The Cauacu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcisio Fonseca should have stopped the shot. The Cauacu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Irajá FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Ciro Porto made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tarcisio Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Tarcisio Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Bertassi in the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Gernando de Toledo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Tarcisio Fonseca. Tarcisio Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Claudinho Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. Mathias Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tarcisio Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Bertassi came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tarcisio Fonseca could save by the left post. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cauacu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudinho Bertassi was slow to take the kick. During this time Irajá FC's players had a chance to rest. When Luiz Gustavo Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cauacu's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Cauacu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Irajá FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Irajá FC's Claudinho Bertassi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tarcisio Fonseca. Claudinho Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tarcisio Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irajá FC. Irajá FC's Edu Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jacinto Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irajá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcisio Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Ciro Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Claudinho Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irajá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Porto in the 81st minute of play forced Irajá FC's goalkeeper Josué Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Mathias Sena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tarcisio Fonseca. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 89th minute, Ciro Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Irajá FC's Gernando de Toledo in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cauacu's goalie prevented a goal. Gino Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Fonseca having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Cauacu's goalkeeper Tarcisio Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Bertassi. Tarcisio Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. The Cauacu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Irajá FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
