Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Unidos do Morro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar de Godoi came free, but Edgardo Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Padilha's Renatinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Paes in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Padilha's Renatinho Moura got control of the ball when Kuzey Tanpınar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Cafu Paes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lauro Coelho struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Edgardo Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padilha. If Osmar de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Padilha's Valdo Vaz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Renato Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Renatinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Padilha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Unidos do Morro FC's Cafu Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cafu Paes sped through Padilha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renatinho Moura. Renatinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Padilha's João Francisco Baptista got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Renato Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renatinho Moura. Padilha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With an all-out effort, Unidos do Morro FC's Renatinho Moura threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cafu Paes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cafu Paes to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Renato Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidos do Morro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Padilha's goalkeeper Renatinho Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renatinho Moura came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Unidos do Morro FC's Cafu Paes. But to his dismay, Cafu Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 66 minutes into the match, Padilha's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Paes came free, but Renatinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Kuzey Tanpınar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Padilha's Renatinho Moura. Renatinho Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 98th minute, one of Padilha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Padilha. When the referee ended the match the Unidos do Morro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
