In the 38th minute Mazinho de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cauã Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mazinho de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Era's Mazinho de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastião Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Dallas SC's Sebastião Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Sena in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Dallas SC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Narciso Maciel hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Cauã Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, João Adolfo Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Era's Cauã Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazinho de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Era booed when Dallas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Era's Evandro Aguiar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dallas SC's zone, Mazinho de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Vergílio came out of the goal and Mazinho de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mazinho de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Era had played much better football throughout.
