Mané França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Gaúcho having to interfere. Alex Fernandes's late challenge caught a MoNsTaRs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Itambacury FC's Alex Fernandes got a free kick in the 14th minute. Erik Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mathias Leão hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Itambacury FC's Caio Bezerra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathias Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match.
