Giuseppe Linares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro de Sousa. Guerrilha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 6 played minutes Guerrilha got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Vieira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Cabral in the 9th minute of play forced Guerrilha's goalkeeper Ramiro de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Vieira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Fabiano Hoffmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Fiori Cabral took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro de Sousa. Ramiro de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alfredinho Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredinho Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredinho Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ramiro de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Amaral's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Vinícius Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Hoffmann in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guerrilha's goalkeeper Ramiro de Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimundo Vander hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rafa Vieira's late challenge caught a Demolidor Footbal Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute of the match Claudinei da Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro de Sousa skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fabiano Hoffmann to make the kick off. Ramiro de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fiori Cabral's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Vinícius Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Hoffmann in the 57th minute of the match. Demolidor Footbal Club's Fiori Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Guerrilha's goalkeeper Ramiro de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Amaral. Fiori Cabral struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ramiro de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demolidor Footbal Club. Guerrilha's Ramiro de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Cabral in the 68th minute of play. Ramiro de Sousa was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Fiori Cabral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fiori Cabral really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Guerrilha's Ramiro de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Cabral in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Demolidor Footbal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Cabral came free, but Vinícius Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guerrilha were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Demolidor Footbal Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilmar de Salles took the corner. The corner ended in Nilmar de Salles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Demolidor Footbal Club's Vinícius Vieira did a great save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Demolidor Footbal Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
