Adelino Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Tiago Gabriel Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Borges in the 10th minute of play. Cauã Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauã Borges in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Antunes's late challenge caught a Meaipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes LEMORES FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Antunes. Tiago Gabriel Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adelino Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, LEMORES FC's Cauã Borges made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cauã Borges hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Toninho Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Armandinho Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Guimarães in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes LEMORES FC got a freekick which was hit by Elder Tande. 45 minutes into the match, Meaipe's José Pedro Marquez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meaipe's goalkeeper Adelino Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Meaipe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LEMORES FC were winning 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Gabriel Barreto got free with Adelino Barros in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiago Gabriel Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Barros having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meaipe's Sebastião Sanches got a free kick in the 88th minute. LEMORES FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
