In the 2nd minute, one of Lobos Guara FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lobos Guara FC. The goalkeeper, Genílson de Castro, was totally fooled by Lanceiro AD's Mateus Dante, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Doriva de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos Guara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Delfim Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Arantes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jeremias Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Christian Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lanceiro AD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. After 25 minutes, Walmyr Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanceiro AD and the Lobos Guara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Lanceiro AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Christian Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jeremias Valladares came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lobos Guara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Valladares couldn't finish the play. After 32 minutes, Oséias de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanceiro AD and the Lobos Guara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lanceiro AD's Oséias de Azevedo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jeremias Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Urbano made a kick off. Christian Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Paranaense in the 52nd minute of play. Jacinto Vargas scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Paranaense in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bezerra saved Lanceiro AD from getting behind. Lobos Guara FC's Genílson de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Urbano in the 63rd minute of play. Christian Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Lobos Guara FC booed when Lanceiro AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jeremias Valladares took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Christian Bezerra to make any attempt to save it. Genílson de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Britto in the 91st minute of the match.
