Ilaby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reborn FC the free kick. A collision led to Ilaby getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Remo Martins hit a great ball. Amauri Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sá having to interfere. Yuri Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alberto Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reborn FC's Alberto Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Reborn FC from getting a goal against them. In the 19thth minute of the game Alexsandro Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilaby's Josué Pitta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Sá was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amauri Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Teodoro de Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Sá having to make a save. Alberto Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Teodoro de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilaby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sá having to interfere. Alexsandro Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Reborn FC's goalkeeper Alberto Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amauri Romero. After a rather tough play, Reborn FC's Jeferson Britto got a free kick in the 44th minute. Teodoro de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilaby's Teodoro de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Reborn FC's Alberto Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro de Almeida in the 53rd minute of play. Amauri Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro de Almeida succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Reborn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Romero came free, but Alberto Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alexsandro Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Reborn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, Ilaby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ilaby's Yuri Leão got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Reborn FC defense, Amauri Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Sá. The Reborn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Sá should have stopped the shot. Teodoro de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Alberto Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilaby. When the referee ended the match the Ilaby players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
