After 17 minutes of play, Goiás EC's João Vítor de Queiroz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genílson de Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Magalhães in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Goiás EC's goalkeeper Dalmo Prata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Lobos Guara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Bastos to maneuver through the defense.
