Renan Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubinho Simões having to make a save. Hílton Pires's late challenge caught a Ibitura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Pires helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Cipool:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibitura:s goal. Arthur Eger walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 9 played minutes Ibitura got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Gaspar. In the 10th match minute, Ibitura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Jeferson Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Wilton Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renan Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Ibitura got a freekick which was hit by Renan Mendonça. 21 minutes into the match, Frederico Ramos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cipool's Rubinho Simões. Rubinho Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Renan Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Rubinho Simões. Cipool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 28th minute, Frederico Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frederico Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho Simões. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualter Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, José Carlos Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cipool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibitura the free kick. The supporters of Ibitura booed when Cipool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Arthur Eger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubinho Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Carlos Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Ibitura's Arthur Eger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rubinho Simões came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ibitura reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cipool's goalkeeper Rubinho Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Mendonça. Pedrão Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cipool's Hílton Pires got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo Cardozo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rubinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Ramos in the 78th minute of the match. Rubinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Mendonça in the 83rd minute. Rubinho Simões acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zé Pedro Amorim. Frederico Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Simões having to interfere. Renan Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibitura played a much better game than Cipool and deserved their victory. The Cipool players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
