Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4th match minute, Pereba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Millwall FC's goalkeeper Tião Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Alves. 9 minutes into the match, Pereba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Vides came free, but Daniel Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Pereba EC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Favoretto. Tião Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Pinheiro in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zonta in the 16th minute of the match. Pereba EC's Belmiro Castro pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 17 minutes into the game, Hílton Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millwall FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pereba EC the free kick. A collision led to Millwall FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hílton Alves hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Marcus Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pereba EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Millwall FC's Daniel Zonta got a free kick in the 25th minute. Hernani Capixaba took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Félix. Daniel Félix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 31st play minutes Hernani Capixaba shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Daniel Félix and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Capixaba in the 34th minute of the match. Daniel Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the game, Millwall FC's Hernani Capixaba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Félix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Alves made a kick off. If Daniel Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pereba EC's Daniel Félix got control of the ball when Hernani Capixaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Félix was a little too slow when Hernani Capixaba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-4. After recieving a nice pass, Pereba EC's Ramiro Ribeiro tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tião Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Alves in the 66th minute of the match. Mauro Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tião Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
