Ibitura's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arthur Eger in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Marcel Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilton Branco. Ibitura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Ibitura's goalkeeper Wilton Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zonta. Bernardinho de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Arthur Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibitura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luiz Guilherme Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millwall FC's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Millwall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Tião Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Ramos's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Ramos to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Millwall FC's Hernani Capixaba got a free kick in the 55th minute. Daniel Zonta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilton Branco having to make a save. A collision led to Ibitura getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dé Ribeiro hit a great ball. Millwall FC's Hernani Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Natã Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millwall FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibitura the free kick. In the 70th minute, one of Millwall FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Millwall FC. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Ibitura's Arthur Eger got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tião Fontes. In the 77th minute, Frederico Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Tião Fontes. Millwall FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Frederico Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibitura's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renan Mendonça scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tião Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
