FC DOIDO's Armandinho Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfredão Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Aykutalp Özhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Bittencourt in the 11th minute of play. FC DOIDO's Armandinho Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cássio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Taguariaiva SC's goalkeeper Cássio Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilmar da Cunha. If Armandinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Cássio Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when FC DOIDO's Armandinho Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th minute Alexsandro de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexsandro de Amaral in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexsandro de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Lima having to make a save. Armandinho Cunha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 30th playminute. 35 minutes into the match, FC DOIDO's Alexsandro de Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Cássio Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when FC DOIDO's Armandinho Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredão Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Agostinho Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Cássio Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Cássio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Célio Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexsandro de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cássio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro de Amaral in the 68th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Taguariaiva SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar da Cunha came free, but Cássio Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Armandinho Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Cauã Rosado's late challenge caught a FC DOIDO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauã Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredão Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC DOIDO's João Pedro Amorim tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cássio Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC DOIDO booed when Taguariaiva SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
