The referee ignored War Dragon FC's protests and gave Dráusio Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to War Dragon FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dráusio Paranaense hit a great ball. When Valério Aparecido got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Frédson Linares was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gilmar Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Favoretto in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Norberto Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gilmar Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Valério Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ledo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilmar Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Reynaldo Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. War Dragon FC's Norberto Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Luizão Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Rafa Britto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Frédson Linares, passed just outside the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafa Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. Frédson Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, War Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Valério Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Angelo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Valério Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizão Trancoso got free with Gilmar Toscano in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Rafa Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson Linares. War Dragon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Ledo SS booed when War Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Sergipano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frédson Linares. War Dragon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Angelo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Toscano having to interfere. The Ledo SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching War Dragon FC's performance. The match ended with a win for War Dragon FC.
